For the second year in a row, Beirut is joining other cities globally to celebrate International Jazz Day on April 30th. Held under the patronage of UNESCO, this is really a day to celebrate and enjoy the most free, and arguably most creative form of music (or so the fans like to think). While this is not happening at the Souks, but at our neighbor Uruguay Street, we’re sure we’ll be hearing the music, and we wanted to tell you about it so that you don’t miss it.
Enjoy 6 of the finest bands from the local scene in one night: Funky Blues Band, Real Deal Blues Band, Arthur Satyan Organ Quartet, Xango, Jazzmine Bey Quartet, and the Lebanese National Conservatory Big Band. Happy Jazzing!
Location: Uruguay Street
